Privacy policy

Last updated 5 August 2026.

Faberno is the data controller for the personal information described below. This policy explains what we collect through this website, why, who else sees it, and how to exercise your rights over it. If anything here changes, this page is updated in place and the date above moves.

What we collect

Through the enquiry form: your name, your email address, your business or trade (optional), and whatever you write in the message field. The same applies if you email us directly.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your device and cannot follow you to another website, so we can see that a page was visited but never who visited it.

Why we process it

To respond to your enquiry and, where a project goes ahead, to deliver it. That is processing necessary to take the steps you have asked for before entering into an agreement, or to perform one already in place. Where that does not apply, our basis is the legitimate interest of running correspondence for a small business, which we consider is not outweighed by any impact on you given the limited data involved.

Who else processes it

Two, and no more than two:

  • Cloudflare hosts the site and provides the analytics described above.
  • Resend delivers enquiry-form submissions to our inbox. They handle the message only long enough to route it to us, and are not used for marketing or list-building.

Every typeface on this site, including the ones used by the demos, is served from our own domain, so no font request leaves your browser. There is no advertising network and no embedded third-party widget anywhere. We do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone beyond what is needed to run the site and answer you.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept only as long as they are relevant to responding to you or delivering a project you have asked us to build, then deleted. If a project goes ahead, information relevant to that engagement is retained for the ordinary lifetime of a business record, in line with our bookkeeping obligations.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, object to our use of it, or give you a copy in a portable format. Email us and we will act within a reasonable time.

Keeping it secure

The site is served over HTTPS, so anything submitted is encrypted in transit. Beyond that, we limit what we collect in the first place, on the basis that data we never hold cannot be part of a future breach.
